Programs & Services
Each week, our doors open more than 130 times as youth and adults take advantage of the programs and services The DoorWay provides.
Each year, the staff and volunteers of The DoorWay spend more than 18,000 hours giving help and hope to these individuals.
Annually, The DoorWay also serve 2,500 dinners to hungry guests and 3,500 snacks/meals (including hotdogs, nachos and popcorn) through the Rec Program.
With the exception of the court ordered Adolescent Intervention Program, all programs and services continue to be provided free of charge to those who need them.

The Adolescent Intervention Program works within the courtroom, offering an alternative for dealing with youthful offenders who are cited for alcohol and/or other drug offenses. First time offenders can attend drug and alcohol classes at The DoorWay, which provided up-to-date alcohol and other drug information, as well as first hand testimonies of those struggling to overcome addiction.

Community Service at The DoorWay works in conjunction with local Magisterial District Judges, Police Departments and other law enforcement authorities. The DoorWay provides a location where offenders, both youth and adults, can work off court assigned community service hours. During this process, The DoorWay’s staff has the opportunity to talk and share with those who have been charged and to begin to show them alternative choices that they can make for their lives.
